The renowned Argentine architect César Pelli transformed modern architecture, creating works that blend functionality and aesthetics and have left an indelible mark on countries around the world, including Japan.

His firm carried out collaborations with local counterparts, especially Jun Mitsui & Associates Inc., Architects and Pelli Clarke & Partners Japan, Inc., to design several landmark projects in the country, such as Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, Abeno Harukas, and Ark Hills Sengokuyama Mori Tower, among many others.
