Technical cooperation is framed within the Agreement on Technical Cooperation between the Government of the Argentine Republic and the Government of Japan, signed in 1979 and entering into force in 1981. Every year, the technical cooperation programs for the corresponding fiscal year, which begins on April 1, are agreed upon through an exchange of diplomatic notes between the two governments.
