Florencia Werchowsky and Shino Sakuragi will exchange views about literature and love hotels in the auditorium of the Cervantes Institute in Tokyo, this November 19, 2015 starting at 19: 00hs.
Florencia and Shino met thanks to an exchange of letters concerning love hotels, central theme of their literary works. Florencia wrote the novel El Telo de Papá (Daddy’s love hotel) in 2013 and then heard Shino Sakuragi had written a parallel story, Hotel Royal (Naoki Prize winner), in the opposite tip of the world. Both authors continued to exchange books and letters, and in this November they will meet face to face in a dialogue moderated by the translator Eduardo Lopez Herrero, who resides in Japan and found this singular story that unites two very different cultures.
