The purpose of the Congress is to analyze our country from different branches of science in order to provide a comprehensive and current vision of the national reality. Among the thematic axes to be developed are the following: literary studies; cultural studies; histories, memories and literatures, narratives of the postdictatorial period, digital genres, mass media and literatures in clouds and virtual networks, film studies and visual arts, music and plastic arts, history and historiography, archeology, architecture and anthropology, democracy, human rights , memory, politics and international relations, education and development, economics and geopolitics, linguistic studies and translation, migration, cities and urban studies, environment and civil society, gender issues, violence and insecurity.
The conference will be hosted by the Director of the National Library of Argentina, Dr. Alberto Manguel and the event will be attended by the Director of this National Directorate, Ambassador Mauricio Wajnrot, as well as Drs. Alberto Rojo (physicist in Borges), Ariel De la Fuente and David Sheinin (both specialist hitoriadores in our country), among others.
The Call for Papers is open until November 15. In this first stage it is expected to receive only the title and the summary of the presentation in English, French or Spanish, with a maximum extension of 200 words. Proposals for panels or round tables are also accepted, with a maximum of four participants.

The Organizing Committee of the congress will review the proposals and select them with the criteria of organizing a varied and original program. Decisions will be communicated no later than December 1, 2017. It is highlighted that after the end of the Congress will see a new call for papers to be published in the proceedings of the Congress.
